The next in what I'm sure will be a string of robocat-themed presents is a hakoton that Steve gave me. It's quite awesome.
Kate got me a clock for my birthday. I don't know how she does it, but she manages to find things that I didn't even know I wanted. The eyes and tail are mechanically linked, so they're always in sync. The mechanism is pretty neat, too. Instead of a power-hungry motor, it's based on electromagnets and gravity.
I haven't joined the fan club or anything, though.
