My bank called today. Seems that someone used my credit card number to order over $5000 of stuff from Canadian Tire and Radio Shack in the past couple of days, using a fake name and address. Luckily the banks have some huge patchwork system of computers, rubber bands, and duct tape that makes up for the complete lack of security in credit cards, so I don't actually lose any money out of this. I just get a new card in the mail and some forms I have to sign.
