the Alps

Well, I survived my first term at Insead. We had a brutal 3 days of exams and then I went skiing in Val D'Iseres in the south east of France.

It's amazing how much you remember even after not skiing for years.

I have some great photos that I will put up on my website soon.

the wild woods

Here at Insead we are surrounded by the Fontainbleau forest which is reknowned for its bouldering, its great trails and its variety of wildlife.

When I drive to and from school, I often have to watch out that I don't hit the wild boar or the deer which like to wander onto the highway sometimes.

What I didn't realize was that the forest was home to yet another species that is visible both during the day and in the early evening.

Homo Prostitutas. They are recognizible by their black mini skirts, fishnet stockings and can be spotted on the edge of the forest at various parts along the highway.

And I thought all the cars parked by the forest meant that the French were just keen outdoorsmen. Vive la France.
