I've been in Stettler the past two weekends. I'd been to Stettler once before for a ball tournament last summer. And by "ball tournament" I mean "excuse for a party." Say what you will about Stettler; I've always enjoyed myself there.

After much hard work by grant, we have a working 2.4 SMP kernel. system load has dropped significantly since the motherboard upgrade and especially since we switched to the new kernel. Hooray.
I had the extreme pleasure of upgrading okcomputer's backup drive last week. Soon after that, a dual processor motherboard came into my possession. Having no use for it in my OpenBSD server (aka ns2.antiflux.org), I decided to give it to okcomputer. While I was at it, I took some pictures.
okcomputer has been sitting on my desk for a few days while we get the new kernel sorted out. I had forgotten this beast was so noisy.
Uh oh. Until recently, my general laziness was offset by my laziness to cook. Now I've started to catch on to the cooking vibe and it's barbeque season, the last 48 hours of snow notwithstanding.
"Hmmm, I think I'll just have steak tonight." Not good. But so tasty.
