What do you do with your Canadian Tire money?
Posted by tim at August 14, 2004 06:49 PMWell, some places will take it as donations (churches and such). I guess they use it to buy various upkeep and tools for the place.
The best use of it though would have to be the A&W somewhere near Comox on Vancouver Island which accepted it *at par*.
Of course, you could also head down to the US and pretend that it's actual currency.

Posted by: grant on August 15, 2004 06:13 AMgive it to those guys on granville island who claim to collect it for charities.
my parents saved about 60 dollars worth once and gave it to me and i think i bought something with it once.
but otherwise, there's some dudes who sit by granville island who say, can i ask you a question? and usually you just walk by and say no, but if you stop and say, yeah, then they tell you how they collect it..it's used for good and not evil. but i don't have the pamphlet.
I give it to the next person in line.
