HB03!

Last weekend's house boating trip was a blast, as expected. Shubh generously provided us with enough free beer to floor a humpback whale, making this year's trip the only time we had booze left over at the end. Wendy put together an opulent menu and Geoff handled most of hte logistics. As for my contribution, I, uh, posted the photos on my web site. Good work, team!

beer and big foam hats for all! Neil on the gay seahorse house boaters and floatation devices the menu

Only a week left at my job. The past month has been great. I quickly handed off most of my day-to-day chores to my replacement and focused on a list of things I've been meaning to do when I had enough time. I split some DNS, moved mail traffic around, cleaned up a lot of loose ends, played hardball with vendors, and even helped some customers.

On top of everything else, I'll be joining the illustrious quarter century club on Wednesday. Perfect time to resume my edumacation. With a little luck, I could have my PhD in time for my retirement party.

what's going to happen to this delightful online community when you ditch the job? did you hide okcomputer in the floorboards or are we getting evicted? nooooooo...! although it might be time for an email address change, the spammers have finally caught up to me here..

Don't worry, okcomputer will stay here for the foreseeable future.

Bug evan to get back to work on his plans for system-wide anti-spam measures.

good call. I've been getting a lot from logosaur and flashcraft lately, and was thinking of firebombing them. maybe getting the anti-spam going would be a more economical plan.
