Cultural Differences

On Tuesday night, I went to the Tori Amos concert in Paris.

Aside from the fact that it was a phenomenal concert, what was interesting was that it was a truly French event.

At home, when you go to a concert, you get hot dogs and beer.

In France, the street vendors stand on the sidewalks (beret and all) and actually sell baguettes.

It makes a lot of sense, everyone eats baguettes, but it just looks bizarre.

And if you walk into a movie theatre in Paris, you can buy a glass of beer. I'm not talking about no paper cup. I'm talking about a *glass of beer!*
