Snow day

So apparently Rutgers is the kind of sissy school that will cancel classes just because of a little snow. I guess this means I shouldn't do my homework after all. Now I just have to figure out whether I am "essential personnel," and must remain at my post, or "snow-plow fodder," and am free to wander the streets.

your use of the term “snow-plow fodder” reminds me of the term used in quebec to describe the snowbank-destroying machines that had had some “incidents” with kids playing in said snowbanks. “child-crushers”.

and does “code yellow” refer to the situation or the state of the snow itself?
