A quickie panorama of the Detroit River:
The bridge on the far left is the Ambassador Bridge to Detroit. The University of Windsor is right next to it. The buildings on the far right are the start of Windsor’s downtown. That’s where I live right now.
Also, I borrowed Janine’s new camera and made a crappy little video.

That video makes you look hardcore. I’ve been thinking about developing some sort of video blogging site. Not sure how much interest something like that would gather. Also, I’m wondering what the best distribution format would be…..MPEG4? Xvid?
bricode14 August 2004I made the panorama with Canon PhotoStitch. The automatic merge was even messier. It lets you pick matching areas by hand, and that improved it a lot.
The big problem is that when I took the photos I moved the camera in an arc, rather than just on its vertical axis.

That panorama stitch program is pretty good. Not too noticable if you just glance at it.
Also, my new Powerbook is somewhere in Anchorage. I’ve already got my iPod, and I have to say so far I’m really impressed with Mr. Job’s work.
