Ten years ago I bought my first issue of Wired. How could I resist that EFF vs. NSA cover?
The “Net Surf” section was an introduction to URLs. The web was at this point a few years old, but still small. Mosaic was the big thing; Netscape wouldn’t be released until October.
I think I wrote some CGIs that year … in C. They were probably guestbooks, because that’s what everyone used CGI for.

wow, that one was ten years ago eh? I think our first one had Sonic the hedgehog on the front 3D rendered.
