I like the contrast between port and starboard in this series ben. it captures the nautical feeling of a boat so eloquently.

however, I am debating with the princess here on the subjectivity of the subjects. I feel that the jagged three-fingered theme is represented on the left of figure one and right of figure two, hence the title. the princess however posits that the subjects are to the left and right of you on your desk at work. could you elucidate and clarify?
